„A space that felt much more than a program.“
LEXIE stands for Learning EXpedition for International Impact Entrepreneurs, and is a program for young entrepreneurs since 2022, created by Fabrice Periac PhD, founder of S-Team Experience, and Prof. Dr. Arthur Hofer, Macromedia University. 12 students from Germany, France, Sweden, Portugal, Malaysia, India, Jordan, and Nigeria, participated one week in Munich, and one week in Paris – and became friends for a lifetime!
Impact entrepreneurship projects are necessary to enable the transition of our societies towards more sustainable models. Such projects must be carried out by people from very diversified backgrounds, for the transition to be fair and inclusive.
For this reason, we have created the LEXIE program, a learning expedition devoted to helping early-stage impact entrepreneurs from diverse countries and diverse backgrounds turn their ideas into reality.
Shaping Europe’s Future Across Borders – A German-French Learning and Exchange Project
Based on several years of experience with the LEXIE program, which has been running since 2022, the Munich European Conference has entrusted Macromedia University e.V. with implementing the German-French exchange project “Shaping Europe’s Future Across Borders.”
The focus of this 2026 Learning Expedition for International Impact Entrepreneurs was on impact startup projects as a common foundation for the one-week sessions in Munich and Paris. Impact entrepreneurship is essential today for enabling the transformation of societies toward more sustainable models. To ensure this transformation is fair and inclusive, such projects should be carried out by people from very diverse backgrounds. For this reason, we launched the LEXIE program, a learning expedition aimed at supporting early-stage impact entrepreneurs from different countries and with diverse backgrounds in turning their ideas into reality.
The sessions took place from May 10 to 15 in Munich and from May 31 to June 5, 2026, in Paris. The Munich session was led by Prof. Dr. Arthur Hofer, Chairman of the Macromedia Community e.V. and spokesperson for the Macromedia Startup Network, the Paris session led by Fabrice Periac, PhD, professor at PSB-Paris School of Business and founder of S-Team Experience.
A total of 12 students from various fields of study in Germany, France, Sweden, and Portugal, as well as from Malaysia, India, Iran, Jordan, and Nigeria, participated in the program. Participants were selected in Munich by Prof. Hofer based on a call for applications; in Paris, the selection was made by Fabrice Periac.
The LEXIE program consists of workshops, lectures, and business talks, as well as on-site visits to the SCE Straschek Center for Entrepreneurship in Munich and the incubators Station F and L’Escalator in Paris. The courses and workshops focus in particular on topics related to cross-border founding of socially and community-oriented startups in an international context.
„A place where ideas were challenged, friendships were built, and people genuinely wanted to help each other grow. We leave with stronger ideas, new friendships, valuable lessons, and a much bigger vision of what’s possible.“
