Macromedia Start-up Contest 2026– Innovation trifft Unternehmergeist

Macromedia Start-up Contest 2026 – Where Innovation Meets Entrepreneurial Spirit

Creativity, entrepreneurial ambition, and inspiring pitches defined the Macromedia Start-up Contest 2026 at the Munich campus. More than 50 business plans and pitch decks submitted by student founders from Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Leipzig, Stuttgart, and Munich competed for a place in the finals.

Through a multi-stage selection process, experienced professors and successful entrepreneurs identified the most promising ventures. Nine finalist teams were then invited to present their ideas to an expert jury consisting of Ellen Martin, Co-Founder and Managing Director of comdaily, Dirk Weigel, Co-Founder and CEO of Active Boomer, and Michael Hack, Head of Corporate Development at the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship at Munich University of Applied Sciences.

The jury awarded three main prizes and three special prizes to teams whose concepts demonstrated exceptional innovation, market potential, and entrepreneurial drive.

Beyond the competition itself, one of the event’s greatest achievements was the vibrant exchange among participants. In an open and relaxed atmosphere, founders, mentors, and jury members shared experiences, discussed challenges, and built valuable new connections. These interactions are helping to establish a growing nationwide network of entrepreneurial talent that will continue long after the event has ended.
